Two terraced cottages. Late C17. Coursed rubble, wooden lintels
and stone slate roof with 2 brick stacks. Single-storey and attic,
3 gables of unequal height. All windows are 2-pane C19 casements;
gabled dormer to No 4. Part glazed C20 doors, stone slate porch
between gables to No 6. The pair of cottages is the least altered
example of C17 vernacular in the back street and forms a group with
Nos 1 and 3 opposite (q.v.).
