Pair of gate lodges, earlier C18, rubble stone with ashlar
dressings and stone-tiled pyramid roofs with ball finials. Square
plan. Windows in raised moulded surrounds with later 18-pane
lights. West lodge has ashlar corniced north east corner stack,
central south front window and west side window and flush cyma-
moulded door. Fragments of painted decoration, early C19, said to
be by French prisoners-of-war, within. East lodge has basement,
central south window and east side door in chamfered surround.
Between lodges, ashlar gatepiers with fielded panels, corniced caps
and ball finials. C20 iron gates. From east lodge, a length of
coped garden wall runs north with ashlar moulded gateway, C20 iron
garden gate.
