House, C17, rubble stone with stone tiled roof and end wall stacks.
One-and-a-half storeys. 3 gabled north-east front with 3-light
first floor stone mullion windows, ovolo-moulded to left, hollow
chamfer moulded to centre and right. Ground floor 3-light timber
ovolo-moulded mullion window, door and casement pair and 3-light
timber ovolo-moulded mullion window. Rear has dormer gable each
end, that to right a C20 addition and timber casement windows,
mostly renewed. C20 garage with stone tiled roof to left end.
Interior: North end room has large timber-lintel fireplace and
winding stair to side. Heavy chamfered beams with bar stops.
Smaller timber-lintel fireplace at south end. Apparently 2
cottages formerly. A mill site, the mill building demolished.
