House, c1800 with rear range dated 1655, rubble stone with stone
slate roof with end stacks. Formal three-storey, three-window west
front, originally roughcast now stripped and with some C20 concrete
lintels. 9-pane attic sashes, 12-pane to first floor and ground
floor each side, arched-headed first floor centre sash and round-
headed door with metal-traceried fanlight. Parallel rear range has
end stacks and ridge stack and 3-storey east front of C20
casements, some with concrete lintels. Date plaque 1655 LH.
Running north from rear range is 2-storey outhouse and loft, the
ground floor with timber-lintel openings possibly C17, one oak-
plank door, 2-light timber window and doorway with oak frame. West
side has broad lean-to with north end cart-entry under timber-
lintel. Barn formerly included in list is now a separate house and
not of special interest.
