GV II


Former house, now rest home. Late C18 with C19 alterations.
Rubble rendered and colourwashed with ashlar to bays on south
front, ashlar copings and gabled stone slate roofs with end brick
stacks on stone bases. U-shaped plan. South front of 2 storeys, 3
windows. Two-storey C19 canted outer bays with 2-pane sashes and
central upper C18 Venetian window with moulded abaci and keystone:
central 6-pane sash with 'Y' traceried head and side lights.
Central doorway with engaged Doric porch and part-glazed door with
steps. Moulded string courses to first and second floors on bays,
moulded string course below blocking course parapet to recessed
centre section. Two gabled dormers masked by bay parapets.
Further doorway and sash fenestration to east side wall. Interior:
not inspected.
