Row of 3 cottages, possibly C16 origins, substantially altered in
C18 and C19. Nos 5 and 6 are rubble stone with Bridgwater tile
roof ridge stack and south east corner stack, roof half-hipped to
south. 1 1/2 storeys, No 5 has casement pair over blocked basement
2-light mullion window and door to right, No 6 a triple casement to
ground floor, another breaking eaves above and door to right.
Timber-framing visible in north end wall. Heavy spine beam in No
5. No 7 has rubble stone plinth, north end chimney bay and back
wall, most of front wall is C19 red brick, replacing timber-frame.
Double-fronted with 2 casement pairs each floor and centre door.
A lean-to on north wall has some exposed timber-framing to front.
Two-room plan with heavy chamfered centre beams. Windbracing in
roof.
