II
House, late C17 heavily restored in early C20, rubble stone with
stone tiled roof, moulded coping to gables, ridge and south end
stack, and ridge stack on south-west rear wing. Two and a half
storeys, L-plan. Recessed ovolo-moulded mullion windows, much
renewed. East front has 2 dormer gables with 2-light windows, 3-
light and 4-light windows to first floor, 5-light and 4-light to
ground floor, all with hoodmoulds. Range to north with coped
north gable, flush north end quoins and rear wall stack. East
front has 4-light upper window and hoodmould over C20 door flanked
by windows under hoodmould. South end has attic single light,
first floor 3-light, both with hoodmoulds, and ground floor 4-light
timber-mullion window with renewed mullions. Rear wing has south
side 2-light and single light to first floor and 4-light below, all
with hoodmoulds. West end 3-light C20 attic window with
hoodmould. To left, west side of main range has dormer gable with
2-light and hoodmould. On road front, a single storey early C20
range with porch behind rear wing linking to outbuilding behind
north end of main range. Within porch is original c1700
bolection-moulded doorcase with plank door. In house, Tudor-
arched south end fireplace with stone shelf and bolection-moulded
central fireplace.
