Pair of houses, C17 altered, rubble stone with C19 slate roof, 2
ridge stacks and south end stack. Two storeys and attic. No 92A
has double fronted main range with 2 dormers and two 3-light
recessed ovolo-moulded mullion windows with hoodmoulds to each
floor. Central plank door in moulded stopped surround with
hoodmould. Gabled ashlar porch with reused oval light each side.
To right is one window range section with dormer, first floor 2-
light recessed cyma-moulded mullion window and hoodmould and ground
floor brick relieving arch over C20 garage doors. Old photographs
show door and projecting shop window. No 92 has one upper 3-light
recessed ovolo-moulded mullion window and ground floor 6-pane
window, door in chamfered surround and small-paned canted timber
shop window. To left No 90A, possibly C18 infill between earlier
buildings with boarded upper opening, ground floor C20 shop window,
small-paned, and door with timber lintel. Old photographs show
carriage doors in place of shop window. The property is numbered
out of sequence. Nos 90-112 form a fine C17 to C18 group.
