Stable block now hotel annexe. Circa 1870. For Richard Keevil.
Ashlar front and side elevations; rear is hammer dressed.
Rusticated quoins. Decorated Welsh slate roof with decorated iron
cresting and finials. Italianate style as house. 1 storey with
gabled attic. Asymmetrical front has slightly projecting gabled
centre with central round arched door and round arched sashes
either side, having keystones and hood moulds linked by continuous
string course. 2-light sash above in gable. To left of centre
is round arched entrance and 2 elliptical arches, separated by
rusticated piers. To right of central gable is 1 elliptical arch
and 3 round headed sashes with string course over. One 2-light
attic gable has been inserted to right; being a good copy of the
one to left of centre; both having keys, carved hood moulds and
rusticated quoins. One storey return to left has 2 inserted C20
round arched sashes. Right return has one plain sash. Rear also
has C20 round-headed sashes. Interior openings retained in
conversion of stables to hotel accommodation.
