Peddie and Kinnear, 1873. 2-storey and attic 3-bay bank with with former Manager?s flat above. Coursed red sandstone ashlar to principal elevations, dressed rubble to sides. Base course.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: moulded architraves, cill courses and cornice. Tripartite windows to centre bays. At ground, doors with consoled cornices to outer bays. Single windows to outer bays at 1st floor. Attic with central tripartite arch-headed dormer, flanked by single segmental-headed dormers. Dated and monogrammed to outer corners below cornice.
W ELEVATION: gable with 2 windows at ground, 1 to attic.
E ELEVATION: formerly adjoined by building to left; built out at ground to right.
REAR ELEVATION: irregular 3-bay; stair windows to left; pair of segmental-headed dormers. Lower bay to left.
Timber sash and case plate glass windows; 4-pane to sides and rear. Platform roof; grey slates; ashlar coped skews; corniced ashlar stacks.
INTERIOR: banking area largely modernised.
BOUNDARY WALLS: dwarf red sandstone walls and piers to car park.
