Formerly an inn called the Old Star Inn. The exterior dates from the C18 but
the building is probably older. Two storeys and attics, the front faced with
modern stucco, the first floor of the end wall is tile-hung. Half-hipped
tiled roof with 3 hipped dormers. Five casement windows. Doorcase with gabled
tile-hung hood. At the north-east end is a C19 addition of red brick. One
storey and attic with one window.
