Probably C16 timber framed structure with later elevations. High pitched tiled
roof. 2 storeys. Variegated fronts, No 3 rendered, No 4 partly rendered and
pointed brick, No 5 rendering and red brick. Various odd boarded doors. Some
C18 and C19 sash windows; and large modern metal casement, to No 3. On left
return to No 3 panels of flint rubble; on riglt return to No 5 some exposed
framing, with brick filling. Graded for group value.

Nos 1 to 5 (consec) Mill Lane Cottages form a group.
